Food Trip

We drove from Napa to San Francisco. I drove over the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time. I've ridden over it many times but this was my first time behind the wheel (and through the morning fog) We were met by Ronnie Ferrer and Medel from the Philippine Consulate. They took us to lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant where we had soft shelled crab and crab fried rice. For dinner, we went to Tad's, a steak house institution off Union Square. Great steak, salad, baked potato and garlic bread. On our second day we went to Lil's diner, a throwback to the 50's. Farallon was our choice for dinner where Loly had golden trout and I had white bass with mushrooms and Gnocchi. It was soooo good. We also visited Macy's where Loly was photographed.
Tomorrow it's off to Marina.
