Even though we are only seeing it from a distance, it was great to see the snow on the mountains we crossed over on our way to Lake Tahoe. We went through the Donner Pass. At one point our elevation was 7,000 feet. Lake Tahoe is big and beautiful. At portions of the lake where the depth is shallow, it' turquoise. The mountains that ring it are topped with snow. We hope to take a cruise on the lake tomorrow. The Prius is doing well except when we go up steep hills.
Hmmm...hopefully you saw snow AND flowers on this Mother's Day. Rob and I made sure they were at your hotel - did you get them?? We hope you're having fun (sounds like it) and the Prius gets you back to our house in one piece.
